Panama is one of the trend destinations for the forthcoming year. Panama City on the famous canal, is the third cheapest city in the world, but is also a very beautiful city with its pleasant Casco Viejo district with its multitude of colonial buildings.
Many people go in search of the green, cooler highlands of Chiriqui after a few days in the city, or perhaps one of the other nature areas found in this southernmost part of South America. Do you enjoy diving? Then you must pay Bocas del Torro a visit. Mangrove forests, coral reefs, sandy beaches and a tropical rainforest. You can explore the beautiful reefs and spot sea turtles whilst snorkelling from the beach at Bocas del Toro.
Or why not visit the San Blas islands, a paradisiacal group of 365 islands. A trip to Panama is often combined with a holiday to Aruba, as this is only a 1.5 hour flight away. Again, you can enjoy tropical temperatures and white beaches here and possibly also pay a visit to the Arikok National Park.
