A true Amsterdam household name

It doesn’t matter if you say Winter, Gebroeders Winter or De Winter, everyone will instantly know what you’re talking about. For all your office sundries, but also for beautiful and luxury gifts. Luxury leather goods and well-known pen brands, such as Parker, Cross and Waterman. Who didn’t buy some notebooks and pencils with an eraser for school from Gebroeders Winter when they were young? Surely every Amsterdam resident did? We were initially located at number 5, but have since moved next door and now have a beautiful store at Beethovenstraat 3.

For the artists among us, we have an extensive range of painting and drawing supplies, including Talens paint, but also various different types of paper for producing cards with matching envelopes. Beautiful notebooks produced by, for example, Paperblanks, Bekking and Moleskin. We offer a platform to some of our local residents; for example, we currently have a book in our store called “The letter from my father”, written by one of our neighbours, Mr Ben Stranders, which tells of his father’s experiences during the war. We have been living in this neighbourhood, and as part of this neighbourhood, for a very long time and hope to continue doing so for many years to come.
